About Us
Locally owned and operated, Daniel Arthur’s is Cedar Rapids newest fine dining restaurant, conveniently located just blocks off of I380 at the US Cellular exit. The restaurant may be new, but the building sure isn’t. It’s one of the last six remaining original mansions built in the late 1800’s, providing unique space and intimate settings throughout!
Sink your teeth into our mouthwatering bone-in ribeye or beef tenderloin. Both are prime cuts of beef and are consistent, top sellers. But to say that DA’s simply creates extraordinary steaks would be a disservice. Owners Dan Buffington and Laurie King wanted to provide the freshest fish possible, and in doing so currently offer Salmon, Escolar – all flown in direct from fresh waters. The Rack of Lamb has become a DA's signature item, as are the unique vegetarian dishes that change nightly. But the entrees aren’t the only specialties here. The whole menu is.
From crisp, fresh salads like our Caesar, House and BLT, to the Duck Breast, Mussels, and Scallop Appetizers, the cuisine is as good as you’ll taste anywhere in the country!
The restaurant may be fine dining, but the feeling is warm, comfortable and inviting. Intimate settings, two lounges, three fireplaces, an outdoor patio and wood deck await you.
